 This is the highly regarded SED SV6L6GC. These current production tubes are constructed with a gold-plated molybdenum alloy grid and carbon-coated screen grid. All ratings of the SED SV6L6GC meet or exceed those of the original version; top-quality cathode materials and extensive aging yield outstanding performance in high-fidelity and musical-instrument amplifiers.
The SED SV6L6GC is made exclusively at the SED SPb factory in St. Petersburg and they bear the "Winged C" logo. This is the factory that made the famous Svetlana tubes before the New Sensor folks grabbed that name and started using it on other tubes not made by the original Svetlana factory in St. Petersburg. If you want the authentic Svetlana tubes, look for the "Winged C".
