In keeping with the Genalex / Marconi-Osram tradition of providing the highest quality triode tubes like the PX4 and PX25 of the 1930s, New Sensor has released the Genalex Gold Lion PX300B audio power triode.
With gold plated grids and pins, quadruple spring loaded filament / cathode supports, a heavy arc proof ceramic base, and a plate dissipation of 40 Watts (6 more than the famed Western Electric 300B), the PX300B is earning a reputation as one of the best-sounding 300B tubes in production today.
These
tubes have been burned in and tested at typical operating voltages on a
laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000 (manual setting, fixed bias mode). They are precisely matched for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm). Learn more about our burn-in and testing process here.

Precision Power Tube Matching
Our power tubes are burned in for 48 hours and tested on a laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. We match tubes for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm) at typical operating conditions (see #3 below) for no extra charge. We can also custom match power tubes at whatever specifications you provide (see #4 below).
