This late 1960s Mullard 6DJ8 / ECC88 tube was made in Great Britain (Blackburn factory code) and labeled for other companies (Philips, Amperex, RCA). It has the following characteristics:
- creases on the top of the bottle
- silver risers
- round shield with two raised rectangular sections on opposite sides
- halo getter with wide support post
- Blackburn, UK factory code etched in the glass
- a number or letter imprinted on the glass between the pins
