The 1961 Mullard EL84 / 6BQ5
tubes in this precisely matched pair have gray plates and large halo
getters (rX1 series). The glass has the browning characteristic of early Mullard EL84 tubes. The red print on the glass is labeled for Motorola (mostly gone). The Blackburn factory code and matching 1961 date codes are etched in the glass (B1E = Blackburn UK, 1961).
These tubes are matched for both current draw (37.4 mA & 37.4
mA) and transconductance (84% & 86%). They ship in new white boxes.
These tubes
are sold as a precisely matched pair. Photo is of the actual pair.
