This early 1950s RCA 5692 tube is an industrial grade 6SN7 tube--and an audiophile favorite. It has a short bottle, dual top getters, black plates, and distinctive red base. This tube's triple mica and 11 support rods contribute to its long life and low noise. The white print on the base has the RCA logo.
This tube has been tested for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm) on an AT1000 tester (fixed bias mode), and screened for gas, shorts, leakage, and excessive
