The WE-717A is a pentode tube that can also be wired as a triode (like in the Yamamoto A08 tube amplifiers).
This 1940s 717A was made for Western Electric by Raytheon. It has a metal base (base has some oxidation--see photo).
Tube tests as new and ships in its original box or a new white box.
This tube is sold individually. Photo is a sample from the lot.

This 1940s military spec 717A was made for Western Electric by Raytheon. Its metal base has black lettering that reads JAN-CRP-717A VT-269. There is some oxidation on the base. Tube tests as new and comes in the original box.

This 1940s military spec 717A pentode was made for Western Electric by Tung-Sol. The glass has heavy chrome flashing and is labeled Tung-Sol WE 717A. It also has a metal base, which may have some oxidation. Tube tests as new.
