The Sylvania 56 tubes in this precisely matched pair are vintage 5-pin triodes. They have black plates and bottom getters with lots of chrome flashing. Their black bases have green print with the early Sylvania leaf logo (see gallery images) or lightening logo.
Both tubes test as new and are matched to within 2% for both transconductance (Gm) and to within 7% for current draw (mA). They ship in new white boxes. We also have a pair that tests as new but one of the tubes has a small crack in the base so we're selling it at a discount.

This gorgeous 56 vintage 5-pin triode by Arcturus has a blue globe bottle and engraved black base in outstanding condition. I've listened to this tube in a 300B SET amplifier and verified that it is not microphonic and it does not hum.
