The WE-717A is a pentode tube that can also be wired as a triode (like in the Yamamoto A08 tube amplifiers).
This 1940s military spec 717A was made for Western Electric by Tung-Sol.
The glass has heavy chrome flashing and is labeled Tung-Sol WE 717A. It also has a metal base (base may have some oxidation).
Tube tests as new and ships in a new white box.
This tube is sold individually. Photo is a sample from the lot.
