This 1958 Western Electric 417A triode has black plates and a halo D getter. In the right circuit this tube type can produce .4 watts by itself! Use it to drive your 300B tubes, headphone amps, or high efficiency speakers. So many possibilities! The yellow print on the glass has the Western Electric logo.
Tube tests as new with low noise. It ships in its original box with test results for current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm).
