These new production Genalex Gold Lion KT77 power tubes can substitute for 6CA7 or EL34 type tubes.* After extensive research and engineering, New Sensor Corp. has reissued the famed Genalex Gold Lion KT77. This tube has been recreated down to the finest detail with gold plated grid wire, carbonized screen grids, and a tri-alloy clad plate structure for exceptional performance and sound quality.
These tubes have been burned in, tested at typical operating voltages on a laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000, and precisely matched for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm). Learn more about our burn-in and testing process here.
Price is for a single tube and includes burn-in and standard matching service. Tubes ship in Genalex Gold Lion retail boxes.
* PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to substitute KT77 tubes in an application that is designed for EL34s please TELL US. Not all of the tubes will drop in equally well but we can make it work. This is a case where its a good idea to consider custom matching. This is especially true for amplifiers that run plate voltages at 500V or higher.

Precision Power Tube Matching
Our power tubes are burned in for 48 hours and tested on a laboratory grade Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. We match tubes for both current draw (mA) and transconductance (Gm) at typical operating conditions (see #3 below) for no extra charge. We can also custom match power tubes at whatever specifications you provide (see #4 below).

These EL34 power tubes are made exclusively at the SED SPb factory in St. Petersburg and they bear the "Winged C" logo. The current production SED SVEL34 tubes meet or exceed the original version. Price includes extended burn-in and precision matching.
